Forearm and elbows are strong, powerful massage tools, and deep forearm massage is an excellent addition to the techniques that I use during my treatments.
Highly effective in both relaxation and clinical massage, forearm massage is used to work over a broad area to warm up the muscles before specific muscles are worked on individually.
By using body weight, the forearm naturally sinks to the first layer of tight tissue during the treatment. As that layer begins to relax and release, the therapist is able to sink down to the next layer of tissue. This creates a deep tissue massage that is painless yet effective.
