About

I developed a passion for helping people after experiencing first-hand the benefits of both clinical massage and The MELT Method for chronic illness.
After first qualifying in massage in 2010, I continued my professional development- going on to train in various massage techniques, before stumbling upon Myofascial Release (MFR). I found this technique to be the missing piece when reducing my patient’s pain.

I then embarked on degree level training with Jing and studied The BTEC 6 Professional Diploma in Advanced Clinical and Sports Massage. This accolade is currently the highest level of training available in the UK. It not only raised my professional standards of massage, but also brought my training to the level of a Physiotherapist, Osteopath and Chiropractor.

In 2015, I passed my degree with an overall distinction honours and also received a distinction for my dissertation on ‘Cranio-Sacral Therapy for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder’.

I continued to train with various bodywork schools to advance my knowledge and skills in Musculoskeletal Anatomy, Myofascial Release, Advanced TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) disorders (working inside the mouth), Scar Release Work, Vagus Nerve stimulation, Lymphatic Drainage and Organ Resets.

In addition to bodywork, I am also a Licensed MELT Method Instructor, teaching classes and 1-2-1 sessions in how to eliminate chronic pain. My MELT training took place in the USA over a period of 3 years. This training enabled me to qualify in the necessary science and acquire the teaching skills and techniques to bring this self-care method back to the UK. I have also attended several MELT trainings in the UK as a Teaching Assistant to Sue Hitzmann, creator of The MELT Method.

I regularly attend conferences, webinars and workshops to stay ‘at the top of my game’, ensuring that each client receives the latest scientific research (where possible).
